corrrente We have kept all the updates on ITIL v3 certification, another step was taken: November 12, 2008 were approved by the Qualification Board of the first suggestions arising from the process of certification Revison Foundation and Foundation Bridge ITIL V3 which involved a committee made up of Accredited Training Organizations that have considered the results of a survey issued.
Early indications are the current format of the certification seems to be quite satisfactory even though it is widely believed that the learning objectives of the qualification ITIL V3 Foundation (Foundation and Bridge) should be supported by a longer duration of the course. The suggested improvements, all things considered minor, are aimed at improving the course delivery and enhancement of the contribution of the experience of the most significant short clienti. In suggestions welcomed:
- Foundation Syllabus change (changes that will ufficializate by 17 December 2008 and endorsed by the tests early next year) in terms of adapting the level of detail of some of these topics and deleting / inserting arguments
- raise the minimum required level of learning (with reference to the levels 1 and 2 of Blooms Taxonomy) on some topics in order to ensure greater alignment and preparations for the advanced courses (Intermediate Level)
- increase the duration of the study of the topics to 'internal courses (16 to 18 hours for the Foundation course, from 6.5 to 9.5 for the Foundation Bridge course, this means excluding the time for the test)
- ensure that the trainer courses possess ITIL V2 Foundation qualification plus the ITIL V3 Foundation Bridge (or alternatively ITIL V3 Manager Bridge)
