The Qualification Board involved the ITSM international community (through the members of itSMF) and Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs) their preference on the titles of ITIL certification.
The results, endorsed by the Board are as follows:
- Forms Service Lifecycle Service Capability and Managing Across the Lifecycle will be known officially as ITIL Intermediate Certificates.
- Candidates cha accumulate a minimum of 22 credits of a selection of properly balanced V2 and V3 modules will be awarded the ITIL Expert Certificate.
- Candidates who meet the certification requirements currently known as "Advanced level" will receive the 'ITIL Master Certificate.
